Title: holes in mk1 gti

ok dont no if this is the right place to post this

any had a good look around my new car an i have found two holes

tyre well

and on the front drivers side wing nr the sill

now what is the best method to repair these areas ?

the spare wheel boot area is a simple one, cut and sand down the area until there is not rut and weld in new metal. The picture at the sill - I can't figure out where that is - do you have a better picture a bit further away?

seems to me that your inner sill is rotten there and will require replacing and the a front lower part of that front wing it rotten too - sill part is a bit of a nightmare but repairable - front wing lower part easy to do as its underneath - again cut away rotten parts and weld in new metal. I would get the sill part look at though as its gone all the way through.. you might find that the sill on that side is rotten along the door shuttle part as well.
