Title: VW Lover Vs VW owner

As I walked out of my office for lunch and made my merry way to my Golf I noticed another MK2 had parked next to mine. I had to take a pic showing the difference between the VW lover and the average Joe who owns a Golf.

By the way mine is the shinny one. Soon to be lowered -  Payday!  :smiley:

I never noticed the earlier mk2s were smaller than the later ones before.

was like that at our place today a guy came in in a t reg mk4 red one it had 17\" wheels and i think it was only a 1.4 but it just looked tatty compared to my nicely polished example
it looked like it had not been washed in months road salt etc
whereas i wash mine every week

See, when I had mine I definately fell into both camps.  I loved them and I really looked after them.  Now I have a mundano (new shape '51 reg - work commuting purposes only), good car and very safe etc etc etc, but, I really want another Mk3.  I can't explain it, so currently I'm a VW Lover.

the one on the left is proof VW's go on forever. The owner is proabably a 50 stone, lazy, tight arse doley ! That's rough, the laquer is peeling and everything. Probably not seen wax since 1985 !

LOL Had the exact same encounter once in a car park...a very distasteful modified mk2...and my shining example of a driver hehe watched the guy as he went back to his car was staring at mine all the way muahahaha!!!

Living up a muddy farm track as i do at this time of year i'm ashamed to say my car often looks like i've been rally crossing. I try to get to the jetwash as often as possible but seriously, one drive home and BOOM how you like that? My car is hidden under a layer of mud!  Roll on summer i say!
