Its already at £2500 and there is still 6 days left. I thinks it could fetch more than I could afford to pay out.

yup, I must admit that I toyed with the idea of putting a bid in for it....but it going to go for silly money. cheeper to get mine retrimmed!

I know what you mean dude. It would be a very nice car to own though.

I sent a message to this guy (I'm the one with the 2.5 times mileage and green Rivage), but if you look at the questions waving around 5k in his direction he'd probably take it and well worth it in my opinion. It really does have stupidly low miles and the blue Rivage with cream leather interior is hard to find. That's the exact motor I was after about three years ago, I really would have snapped his hand off if that had been available then.

over rated the Rivage.... a woman's car really.....!!
I think this guys a dealer in VW's - check out his other cars he says he has - 2 other cabriolets and over 10 MK1 GTi's as well as a Rallye/ VR Highline & MK4 1.8T.

I'm getting a bit bored of it now to be honest, I've had it for over three years and I never thought I'd say that. I do still love it to bits and I may change my mind when the suns shining and the roofs down but I'll have to wait and see. :undecided:

As standard the most pricey and sought after cabs (IMO) will be the Rivage (the classiest  ) followed closely by the Sportline as these were the last in the line and so the newest available and will cost anywhere between 2.5 - 5.5k. But having said that I've seen a lot of really nice cabs at shows etc that may well be worth a lot more than any standard Rivage or Sportline to the enthusiast. I always think that cabs are hard to price as they really are worth what people are willing to pay for them.
