Post by: VeeDubNaz on 20 March 2006, 18:20
I seem to have a problem with my golf mk4 2.0gti its a X reg , while i was driving it my check engine light started to flash and i lost power in the car , it seem like its running on 3 cylinders & miss firing badly, it hasnt got a smooth idle when i rev it , sounds like a tractor.

You have a coil pack down mate, but you need to find out which one, either by process of elimination or using vagcom, if its only 1, then it will cost you about £20 in the dealers
