My newly acquired mk3 gti 8v has a constant tapping when running from the top end. It does not matter if it is hot or cold it is always there.
Is it most likely to be the cam followers and these will need changed. Is it an easy job does anyone know of any links?
Car has done 78K with full VAG history.
