whats the biggest set of alloys i can stick on my mk2 golf gti? any ideas? i have 16" bbks at the mo but need bigger

Tricky question dude - Lets face it, you've stuffed a 2.5v6 lump into a Nova, you clearly aren't put off by a bit of hard work - in which case the sky is the limit.
As you've said, you have money to burn, and you like to experiment, so I expect to see your motor rolling on 20's by the end of the week!!!

Seen some MK2's with 18's mate
Will need some arch work but 17's should go on with less trouble ;)
-
How about some 20" Spinners? Hmmmmm :P

I've seem 1 mk2 on 19's a while back from holland. custom made wheels with 1 bolt. Dan's golf from redline has 18's afaik. 17's are sensible. I've been told it handles sh1te with them on...
-
I thought without damaging the handling too much
mk2 - 16"
mk3 - 17"
mk4 - 18/19"
-
I've got 17's on mine and it handles like crap - gonna get sum 16" x 9" fat boys ;D
