Title: Trim clips break easily!!
Post by: Golf VR6 on 15 March 2006, 17:34
   These fricken things break so easily, anybody removing their door trims (the black plastic thingy on the outside of your Mk3 doors) just be aware how fragile the clips holding them onto the door are, bit fidgety too!  I've broken six of em' just now!  Anybody knows how much does VW sell these clips for?

Edge ones are different to middle clips?  I didn't know that, they all look the same to me, well, i've gone and replaced all the clips but everything seems to hold perfectly fine right now.  Was trying to look up this subject in the Haynes manual but the book seemed to have missed out exterior body maintenance completely.
