Good morning,
My front (big) bumper has taken a bit of a knock and the O/S bracket on the inside (Not the wiing bracket) has broken which means it has dropped a couple of inches. Although not life threatening it is annoying to look at.
Having not taken the bumper off to have a proper look, is it possible to change the bracket on the bumper or is this molded on the inner side on the bumper, therefore meaning new front bumper etc etc.
Thanks

yeah the brackets come off, so an easy fix

The genuine ones are riveted on, non genuine are screwed in place. I'm not sure if the holes on a non-genuine bracket would line up on a genuine bumper though!

I had the top of mine broken by a previous owner. They'd also no more nails'd it to the bracket which was fine until I knocked it off going down a lane one night.
I then made up another bracket by cutting 2 in half and screwing them together. worked a treat and the bumper has never fitted so good :D

just make a new bracket with a piece of tin and rivet it to the existing bracket

ive just bought a set of two that i now dont need, your welcome to them for the price of postage

Could you put up a picture of it. Might need to make something as Gambit suggested, would be easy to look at onee rather than having to take off the bumper first

Evening,
Thanks for your feedback...
Had a quick look at the top part of the bracket has split which means it's not slotting on to the wing bracket.
Haribo - if you have replacement ones that great let me know what you want to do.
Otherwise I'll have the bumper off over the next couple of days and we'll see who can come up with the best DIY fix
Thanks in advance
