Title: mk 3 respray

Post by: carl on 12 March 2006, 19:56: had my mk3 gti 16v resprayed in metalic black at the end of january full colour change exept engine bay, by arthur at w.g.body repairs, tel 01782 811112,in stoke on trent ,i went to these has they had resprayed a performance vw cover car before ,they charged me Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£650 which is a bargain .but i stripped the car before he had it ,body kit, undid bumpers ,lights etc ,he even debadged the boot and rear wiper and washer jets in bonnet ,resprayed my new smooth side strips and door handles ,and im very happy with how it came out.

Cool, thanks for the contact. Have you got any pictures? How far back did he strip the old paint?

then put the metalic black on after ,he had the car for 2 weeks ,just taken some pictures but ive not polished it yet ,and not put my wheels on ,
