Title: New Golf GTi owner!

Just bought myself a VW Golf GTi last night so thought it was best register to help keep it looking and running how it should. 

1990 VW Golf GTi (Big Bumpers) 1.8 8v.  Got it for a bargain price so couldn't resist, needs a bit of tlc but thats just part of the fun.  Was going to be a runaround until I gt my Vectra back on the road, but I like it so we'll see!

This is how it currently is.  Need a set of wheels though as one of the rims is badly damaged.  Got a full Scorpian exhaust and an induction kit.  Bit of tlc and she'll be ok...for now :)

I thought that too. ! I'd get rid of the crappy mirrors though !! :smug:

I like the wheels too, but unfortunately they'll have to go as one wheel is badly dinged.  I'm not 100% sure of the mirrors (as you can see fcuk all through them), but I'll probably leave them unless some cheap OE ones come up.

the wheels do look pretty good sets it off

and yes them m3 style chav mirrors look a bit silly
