Title: ABS Sensor

Had a damaged abs sensor which i have replaced abs light still on does the abs computer have to be reset  if so is this a garage job only or does somebody know how to do it thanks

Is there damage anywhere else in the system? did you check the rotor when you replaced the sensor? Unfortunately the ABS system is beyond the scope of the DIYer except checking for physical damage. If the system requires a reset then you will probably have to go to VW.
