Title: 4 OZ supper turismo's in 17" with 225 45 pirelli P7000's.... good buy?

i think so, would have preferred them to be 18" but cant have everything... some bugger pushed it right up to £200 tho! bastardo!


gotta get them refurbed now.... anyone got any suggestions? colours? finishes?

also, anyone got any pics of black golfs with super t's on?

the wheels are all kerbed pretty badly, but i assume they can just be filled sanded and sprayed up....

anthracite

matt black

black chrome

racing silver

?????????????? what colours?!

yeah they can - my refurbisher charges me £100 to have the edges sorted.

I know a place where they charge about 150 notes and they will shot blast them repair them and respray they to new condition. I use them for the wheels on my race car, they are great.

had a quote from lap tab in birmingham for £35 per wheel if i book within two days....


then £60 for stripping and refitting tyres and balancing on all four... grrr extra cash!

so thats another £200 all in....

mite have to try and get the offere extended to next payday!

if i have 17" on will it look a bit tractor ish...? need lowering?

I'd avoid anything too dark, as you have a black car. I had some alloys refurbed in a darkish anthracite on my old 306 GTi-6 which was black, & it just didn't look right.

A dark silver or gunmetal would look best, IMO.
