				Is it true that rear calipers off a mark 3 Golf will fit staight onto a mark 2 with out having to make any alterations ?

				On post 90 models only i believe. You can modify the early ones too. If the handbrake level is on the top rather than the side then you got the later type that will just swop over.

				the big bumper cars have the MK3 style of caliper and has the brake line on the top of the swing arm rather than underneath it like on the early cars, you can fit them but you will need to make the pipes up and get the brackets that go round the end of the swinging arm that hold them.
