What would u do? The missus has a 57i, so I fancy something different..
-
Had good luck with the pipercross on my last 8 valve. :)
-
my vote would be slightly bias seeing as piper are the only ones to make one that fits the <'87 Golf

Dont bother . stick to your good old standard air box with a bit of moddification . take off the lid ,remove the filter and you will see a trumpet shaped piece of plastic sat in the bottom, simply take it out this leaves a nice size hole for xtra air to get in ,replace the standard filter element with a performance one replace lid and take it out for a spin, while driving normally you wont tell the diffrence but when you put your toe down youll hear some nice suttle induction noise.. give it a try after all it is a free mod..
Cheers....Harr1s....

might try that with my 1.8gl auto - hehe

K&N induction kit is nice on a vr6 :-*
-
K&N fan here also
-
Well the K&N seems to be gettin a big thumbs up, which i'd give ti too.
We already have the K&N kit on one of the cars, so for a bit of variety, and it's always good to try a different product, I think i'm gonna go for the Green cotton filter kit !
This kit hasn't any votes, but i reckon they're all gonna be pretty much the same thing. I'll let you know when i get it ;D ;D

K&N is good for the long run as you dont have to replace it.
Should come standard i think ;)

I was changing the leads the other day and i knocked the cone, it came loose on one side ! That jubilie clip on round rubber on a square hole i just don't trust !!! Apart from that it works WELL !!
