I just got back too and have to agree that was a real waste of a sunday, tbf the cars there were pretty much the regulars and a sneaky 3.50 parking sting ah well another to avoid. Trade stands what trade stands were they :)

I thought it was a complete waste of money and my sunday. the only plus side was I got to see ali (and of course jv )

There were some nice cars, but much of the same. Trade stands were bit pants. Thank god there was no all smiles stand as that saved me a few quid!

well i had a good time today  i suppose its different for us newbies the cars are new and not the usual crap, its nice to have a few trade stands, yeah i agree not enough compared to dubfreeze but i still bought somet. A happy medium would of been good between the two shows, however, I found this to be the milestone event a lot of people went to it who didnt go to Dubfreeze so from my point of view I got to lay eyes on a few people whom i speak to and know of but have never seen face to face before... even if i didnt say hello to all of em. Oh and everyone who I saw can have a kiss  apart from Diz cos i dint get one! ha!

i thought it was alright tbh, few more cars perhaps but it was the events first year i suppose. It was a meeting point for me to collect an ebay purchase so the show was a bonus for me really. I took plenty of photo's anyway which cant be too bad of a reflection on the show as whole.

made it back in one piece after the designated driver's car broke down in the carpark. no names mentioned but he owns a golfgti forum. didnt see anything really new or interesting, apart from the 16vG60 mk1 that i've been following the progress of for a while.

seems like most people are keeping their 2006 project cars under wraps until the summer.

lol, was a simple fix  :embarassed:

Was a great show car turn out I thought. The grey Rallye with all the carbon interior parts had me inspired

Very poor trade turn out which is a shame when there are a lot of enthusiasts with money to spend.

Personally i had a good time, wasn't interested in the trade stands as i have no money.  some amazing cars there though and some of the cars i have had a dabble in helping to sort aswell. Met up with loads of people that i frequent forums with, and generally had a nice time.

Glad to here that the G is going again, albeit limping a little John, and good to see you and toph, carl, diz, ali, scott, neaty, paul there aswell,
