Just had a good look at the small vacum hoses at the inlet manifold.

They are a bit manky and i think one of them is leaking slightly. (they are the small ones that have that material webbing on. Where on earth can i get replacement tubing of this sort?

 Any help much appreciated.

 ;)

Halfords keep rolls of small diameter tubing behind the parts counter. they can cut it to length for you.
priced per metre. but you only get charged for what you need
-
you 'll be suprised how helpful (and resonable ) that volkswagon are with prices go in and ask they can put a diagram up on their computer screen just point out which part you want.

-
Depends on the dealer, some are helpful , unfortunately some are not.

-
The sort of pipe your after is sold in any motor factors and should cost peanuts.

-
Thanks for the feedback everyone. Went down to Halfords and picked up some hose yesterday.  ;)

I need some. Are you on about the manky hoses that are covered in some kinda white cloth?

HKS (01480 861997) sell nice blue silicone vacume hose ;)
It aint' cheap @ ?18 for 2 metres, but finishes off the bay if you've got samco water hoses and blue HT leads :)
