Title: Battery Disconnect - Cd Changer?

Hi, very quick question here, looking for a quick answer!

I have just bought the Demison Ice-Link Ipod adapter for my GT-TDI. I have a factory head unit and a sony CD-Changer.

What i would like to know is do I need to have the battery disconnected?  as far as i can see i'm only changing the cd Changer plug?  My old MK3 didn't have it's battery disconnected when i had a new headunit and surely this is less of an issue?

I would say that you are probably meant to connect the battery to avoid damaging anything, but that said, when i fitted my dension, I did'nt :smiley:
