Title: Climate control, traffic alerts.....
Post by: HandsyBoy on 03 March 2006, 08:55
Hi all, my golf decided to start showing the temperature in degrees F, from degrees C on the climate control. How do i change it back, as its also changed on the trip computer?

Also my radio has traffic reports on, how do i turn it off?

One last thing, can you turn off the volume control setting, where it goes louder when you speed up and quieter when you slow down?

Cheers guys,

Dan

to turn off the traffic alerts, just press the fm button.
in the left corner the TP will then change to FM1

hold down the TP SET button (big round one!) until you hear a beep. I think GALA is the option that appears - this is what controls the volume as you drive. Press the TP Set button to enter it then use the volume control know to turn it off

Oh my god, I thought the volume/speed thing was the radio playing silly bastards and was going to swap it out for a new headunit.

You learn something new every day.
