Title: Twin Intercoolers

Post by: GazB on 02 March 2006, 21:10: Dont know much about it sorry guys, it is just an alternative to having a front mount intercooler and is listed on quite a few of the tuners sites now.

I have bought a secondhand Hofele type'R' bumper for Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£50 as I thought that when I ' eventually ' get a 20vt lump I could mount the intercoolers in the large side pods/scoopsÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â i.e. S3 onesÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â or is that a sh!te idea :undecided:.

Dont suppose you know of a how to do you toph? I got the intercooler, so will i just be able to buy the tt pipework?

I have seen the conversion advertised for Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£700 and wanted to know what else was involved for the money or could I do it easily myself, and apart from routing pipework it looks fairly simple, maybe :undecided:

How much of that Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£700 is labour, though? Maybe you could source all the other parts, & then see how much a tuner would fit it for you?
