Hi
I've just had the Jetex stainless steel fitted to my MK 3 16 Valve. The sound is just right - not too boomy at motorway speeds but a nice roar when you floor the throttle. Build quality is superb and yesterday I got the garage to adjust it so that it sits higher in the rear valance and flush with the valance.
See the pics below.

that's cool - same kinda style I want. How much was it?

It was £295 inclusive of VAT.

I've got the jetex cat back system, its excellent, good performance without a stupid booming noise, probably because of the huge centre silencer!
Fitting is difficult because of the size of the pipe and boxes.
I got mine for 140 quid off ebay, worth keeping an eye out, as they pop up from time to time.

i agree about the difficulty of fitting it. It's taken me 3 weeks to get it just right. The pipes and boxes are quite big but the sound is very acceptable at motorway speeds.
The Jetex normaly sticks out a bit more on the MK3 but the garage I took it to yesterday shaved a bit off where the front box and the middle box join. It's now almost flush with the rear bumper. It also sits a bit higher than when i first got it fitted.
