I think I want to cry!!! I looked at the new Golf Cabrio, and honestly thought I was looking at new Astra cabriolet, then I saw the VW badge and felt so dissapointed! what have volkswagen done? they had better bring out some seriously quick version as the models flagship and saving grace

Are those the pics in this week's auto-express? I think it will look a look tastier in the flesh - bare in mind they are autoexpress generated - I think all they do is use another photo and just graft on whatever nose they think it will have, just to give an indication.

so what car is it you have then tomrc????, im beginning to get confused as in some threads youve said you have and r32, in others youve said 2.0ltr gti and are looking for more power????,  whatt car car do u drive/own??? are you mega loaded and own both???, if you have an r32 why would you be asking for ways of making your 2.0 gti faster? and another thread ive read is youve got a fake r32??? which is true??? ::)

Yeah that looks nice, lets face it, anything would look better than the last model.  They would have been better keeping the old clipper shape rather than the mk4'd mk3 cabriolet.

I don't thnk they need to bring out an R32 type version of this car, you don't buy a convertible to be the fastest, you buy it to cruise in.  Thats why I keep looking at the 307cc.  Not quick at all even in 180BHp form, but by heck does it look nice, ummmh could i put up with that sh!t peugeot build quality after owning a VW, maybe not.

Fingers crossed they make it, because that Mk5 cabriolet is my next car!
