Title: Do 17" wheels fit?

Have a mk 2 on koni adjustables and g60 arches. will 17" wheels fit ok?

Yes, my mate has an 8v GTi with standard arches and lowered 80mm on spax adjustable, he run 7x17 with 205/40/17 with no scrubage, stack load of ice in boot to.

Have you cut our your arches to lower it 80mm with 17's on? i have 17's n im gonner lower it about 30mm still want a nice ride.....

How did he manage that I had about a 60mm drop with 15's, sounds etc and I got a little bit of scrubage

Something not right there stoat. I got 15"s on mine and its slammed! Not a bit of scrubage either.
