Title: Vw's tough little baby
Post by: Mk1Mad J - 16v on 22 February 2006, 14:09
My sister in laws polo got t-boned lastnight when "some fresh faced yound whipper-snapper" (her words) didnt bother giving way at a mini-roundabout, she was shunted 30ft across the road.

hats off to vw, the side was caved in so bad there was a gap of about 1ft at the top of each door - yet the pillars stayed true

she got out unharmed - but extreemly depressed, she hadn't had the car a week

luckily the other driver was insured and is accepting full responsibility

good to hear she's ok bud :)

my friend owns a mk4 polo and some youngun went into the back of him on the M6 as he had to brake sharply.... the youngun wrote off his W-reg saxo and my friend's polo had a chip in the rear bumper and his bootfloor needed a slight pull and that's it

The adverts speek the truth then  Glad she was ok.

I put my car into a curb at 70-90MPH, £500 worth of repaires to the steering and i had the car back on the road. A friend put his corsa into a curb at 30MPH, Bent the chassie so bad it was a write off. Says it all really.
