Title: cold air induction

Just fitted a cold air induction kit (EVOM), it bends round the engine and down the side of the car, looks great. When i change gear it makes a swoosh noise. Is that normal, i heard it was, but wanted to ask you guys.

sounds fine

just sounds like its sucking the air in nicely
it will sound louder cause it is not enclosed like the standard air box

Cheers for that, i can hear it sucking in air as i accelerate, and when i change gear or take my foot off the accelerator, its like there is air coming back out, like back presure. Is that caused by the turbo?
I have a 1.8 gti turbo by the way. Sounds good lol  :grin:
