Title: question for people with throttle bodies !
Post by: jasdent on 20 February 2006, 21:11
Alright guys ?

wondering what kind of economy you lot get ?

my setup is an audi a6 block, vw motorsport polished and ported head, 285 piper cams, Peugeot rally fully progammable ecu, Vernier pulley, itg filter, Badger 5 throttle bodies, ashley manifold, stainless exhaust.

I get about 170 miles per tank, about 21.25 MPG

what do you lot get ?

cheers.

Approx 200 miles from a standard 1.8GTi, 83-reg convertible. Costs me approx £30 for a full tank.  Works out to about 25 miles per gallon.

I should be getting more since the fuel mixture is not 100% but you are doing well with all the mods.
