The driver has gti interior and perhaps gti suspension. Also has a gti back box...
-
But no electrics???
-
it's got an electric sunroof... that's about the lot!
-
I'm not convinced the Driver will have the same suspension as the gti old bean - think it's just the gti's that are lowered slightly (10mm?)
-
dunno, mine came with aftermarket shocks and springs so can't check!

I used to have a GL myself cos they had colour coded bumpers and stuff and it's always easier to stick a GTi interior in a GL than to get GTi bumpers fitted and painted to a driver
That said think the driver has 90 bhp to the gl's 75?? I think? I'm going on very old info as I had my GL so long ago
Gl had lots of electric stuff which was nice

GL is better, ok maybe im slightly biased owning one . Driver came in 3dr, GL was just in 5. I think the driver was just dressed up a bit more to be a give it a gti look without the insurance. They both have the same engines mines 90bhp and engine codes ADZ. There was a revised engine on the GL with 100bhp from a 1.6 quite a nippy unit but rare.
