Does anyone know if an injection fuel tank from a mk1 gti will fit an 89 cabriolet?
The reason i ask is that i want to covert my clipper from carb :(, to fuel injection as i have all the parts and a nice engine to slot in.
I do know that a new tank is ?230+ :o
If anyone has access to an etka disc, would you be kind enough to see if they have same part no. :)
thanks in advance!

Have you got any details for the mk1? ie. chassis no. or year. There are different ones listed by year.

Hi "VR"
parts are from an 83 campaign, so that makes it an ew chasis no.
i looked on Euro's website, (im not owning up to looking at the gsf site in the presence of golfvr6!) and they list all tanks under one heading up to 84 as ?70 and the one listed after 84 at ?215!!!!! :o
all the parts i have fit together from an 83, its just, will the tank and bits fit the 89 cab shell? ???

Hello Mr.Old Boy, according to ETKA the fuel tanks are the same for mk1 and cabs. The part number for k-jet should be 171 201 075 Q or 171 298 121. Hope that helps!
