Anybody got any info on theses cars??
I know that I said that I was gonna buy a mk4 golf but saw a mint A3 1.8T 20v down the road from me, drove past it on the forecourt and had to have a look at it.
Its got FSH 58k on the clock its a Y reg (2001) and it for sale at £7999 Its the price any good? Going to test drive it on tuesday anything that I should look out for? finally how does the A3 compare to the Mk4 golf turbo???
Cheers

You get alot more for your money with the VW, but the Audi does have good residuals.
It all comes down to the looks, cos under the skin the A3 and the Mk4 are more or less the same, have you looked for a Mk4 for the same money as the A3, you may find the Mk4 has a few more options, and less mileage. I've had both, a 99' 1.8T 150bhp A3 and now have a 180bhp Mk4 anniversary, and I'd have the Mk4 any day, well....i'd rather have my Mk2 back on the road, but thats another story!

I hear what your saying but ive spent over a month trying to find a mk4 that I like, cant find bugger all!! Plus i'd always said that it'll be between the a3 and golf....
but gotta admit when i sat in the a3 i fell im love

Best thing to do is buy it and never look back.....well, only when your reversing!
Good luck.
