Title: Hello all
Post by: guzzvaliant on 12 February 2006, 20:00
hi everyone, have just bought a 1989, tornado red, mk2 8 valve as a second car runaround.  Unfortunately for the wife and kids its turned me into a complete GTI bore!! and I haven't even bothered to drive my 4 year old passat since !!  It's only supposed to be a stand in until I can find a decent mk1 convertible or a Vr6 corrado, but I fear I am now hooked on it's looks (classic) and the way it makes me feal like a kid again.  I am already drooling over the pictures of other owners cars, and thinking what I can do to mine.
I have got a couple of questions that hopefully anyone out there could help with,
1) Anybody got any P slot alloys centre covers for sale?
2)would a 1989 model have been converted to unleaded?
3)Was half leather standard or added on
Looking forward to hearing from any or all of you soon,

Arrow.

all the mk2s run on unleaded fine.
P-Slot covers are more likely to turn up on E-gay to be honest.
Half leathers are generally an option unless you had something like an G60, or a Rallye.
