Hi all
I was wondering how much to ask for my mk2 golf gti 8v 'J' plate, i did ask a few weeks ago but didnt have any pics,.
As you can see its oak green and in excellent original condition. It has 139,000 on the clock and has had 8 previous owners. The car has full service history , VW up to 130,000 ,. only faults are a very small hole in the drivers seat and some stone chips and light scratches on the bonnet.
The engine is A1 and never misses a beat. here are some pics

It has just had 2 rear shocks , service and cambelt change and has been serviced regardless of cost.
I know its not worth stupid money but i would like to know how much you think i should ask for it.
Thank you for any help

I just paid £1600 for a 16v very similar to yours, in very good condition. I thought mine was a bargain. I would start at just under 2k as its an Oak green one too...
HTH
Cheers,
Steve.

By the way the inteior pictures dont do it justice. apart from the small wear on the drivers seat it really is in very good condition.
I was aiming for around the £1,500 mark , so i might get a tad more then ?,. I know it has had 8 owners but i brought it off a guy in the VW scene and he said it has been past around guys in the scene.
You can see from the condition that every one of the owners has well looked after the car
Heres a couple more pics
