Title: Mk5 Service Meter Reset

I have a 1.6FSI SE and its just had a service by my friend's garage - they've done a great job and all is good, and a fair bit cheaper than my local VW dealership.  They can't however reset the goddam service indicator! GAAAAH!!! can anyone help?  I know the work has been done, i just want it resetting!

Look in your handbook under service re-set

OK


Service reset Mk5 Golf

Ignition off

Press 000 button and hold it

Turn Ignition on

Release 000 button

Press MIN button and release

JOB DONE!  :grin:
