fit the rubber firmly to the new glass, then starting at the lower corner feed some strong thick string or cable into the gap all the way around the rubber until you get to the corner you started at.

now get someone to sit inside the car and push the corner tightly into the window frame (you should have left the corner free from string). get the person inside the car to apply pressure to the edge of the  rubber/glass as you pull the string from the outside, he should follow you  round as the string unwinds. this action will pull the rubber lip over the edge of the window frame, just go slow so that nothing cracks.

when you get to the end you might have to pull out some of the rubber with a trim tool (or carefully with a screwdriver) and then push the rubber out to the edges to get a nice tight fit.

if the rubber isnt flipping out far enough as you pull the string then the person inside isnt pushing hard enough. it can be a bit awkward if you've never done it before but practice makes perfect.

hope that helps

toph.
