Title: Oil Temp stuck on '7'

My oil temp doesnt seem to go over '7'. does anyone know what is wrong? ???

i dont understand how your oil temp reads 7, they sensor only starts to read at 50C!!

What is it with all the oil temp problems? Mine only reads 50 or 52, and thats only after some hard driving!! most of the time I just get --.
The wire to the "plug" above the oil filter is connected (if thats is the temp probe) so why is it doing this?
