Does the interior light work when you slide it across manually? If not bulb has gone or wire could have disconnected somehow. Not too sure on that one. As for the key Fob, Have you checked the battery or replaced it. Do you have a spare key fob to see if that one works? If so then it must be internal. Check all fuses if the problems you've mention require a fuse. However, if you've done all that then it sounds like it could be an electrical problem causing you such problems and you may need to splash some cash to get it sorted.

i had similar problem, it was all down to a slight  fault with my interior light switch, for some reason it had blown the fuse(fuse number 14(10 amp)). that stopped my interior lights from working, windows, alarm, remote central locking, etc. i just replaced the fuse and its fine now. BUT if this don't work don't forget to lock your boot, because it doesn't lock with the central locking when you use the key!!! i don't know why?????

hope this is some use

p.s just copied this as i posted it b4 christmas for somone else, not sure if this is a common fault????

It's probably the lock mechanism (common problem). If the light comes on when you open the drivers door and the drivers door locks when you use the fob it won't be the bulb, fuse, key fob etc at fault.

I have a similar problem where when i lock the doors, the drivers one locks fine but the passenger one locks and then unlocks immediately after. As said above, this is a common problem due to a bably designed lock mechanism, i'm gonna replace mine when the weather gets warmer!
