Is this the same as going to revo and getting a remap?
or is it just a program thats loaded and can be removed without trace, but is not quite as good as a remap?
im confused, also what is the retail on these?
cheers

first off you already need to have revo on your ecu. when the revo remap is flashed across there is something in the code which allows it to be 'switched off'.
the sps1 will allow you to change from remapped to standard and back again whenever you like.. but if your car doesnt have revo on it in the first place then the switch will do naff all.
depending on your car the revo software is 425-499 + vat, i think the sps1 is 199 + vat .. but if you have a later car the sps3 is always the one to go for.

cheers mate, thats stopped me buying the one thats on ebay then as i dont have revo anyway lol.
I want to get it, but dont know what insurance would be like :S...

Revo have knocked a ton off thier price, now £399 + Vat
-
my mate at autovogue got his amd for £250 all in... im gonna see if he can get me that before i go to revo!
-
in my personal opinion.. avoid AmD remaps. just not the same since geoff left.
-
apparently a guy comes and does it in house at autovogue.... :S
-
How can you rell if your Car has got revo, or is compatible for revo? cheers
-
ok looking at revo again now....
so once ive got it revo'd to switch it off i need the sps1 box... without that its just stuck on there yeah...? i think id get both and keep the switch in the car then.
so it would be £399 +VAT then 199+ Vat yeah?
:S
