Hi
Ive recently bought set of recaro's but there out of an escort
My question is
How do i take the subframes off my standered seats ans attach them to my recaros???
also is it any easyer using corrado subframes??
Thanks
Tim.

you can't use golf or corrado subframe, unless you fancy getting busy with a welder! and even then you'll probably be too high. unfortunately you'll have to use proper subframes which cost a few quid...
-
were can i get these subframes from??
and ruffly how much they gonna cost??
Tim.

Any 1 know what subframes and were i can get them from??

subframes cost a bomb im guessing
you can use the mk2 seat frame but then you might need to chop it down big time if the seats sit too high
the corrado one will sit lower. I recently fitted TT seats in my mk2 and i had to use the skeleton of the base as i needed them to sit low as possible.
-
How dod you attach the TT seats to your subframes??
-
you can do it and its not that hard but ultimately it'll mean some crafty welding. i'm not sure who does cheap subframes, you can get universal ones for most bucket seats but i'd go to recaro direct. but be sitting down when they tell you the price.
if you're pretty good with a welder or know someone who is that might be the best way?

ye thanks ive found some 1 that will do it and found a way to get it as low as possible!
and i went to recaro and got a price!
thanks for all the help!
