Title: Loose fuse box....
Post by: dscam on 27 January 2006, 19:36
Just when you think you have all the jobs taken care of another one appears.....

Noticed today that the fusebox on my '90 valver seems a bit loose and rattles when driving, always seemed ok before....all the electrics are in fine fettle and I can't see any visible reason for it not to be secure.  Anyone had this problem and if so what remedies are available???

Awaiting your knowledgeable responses as always.....  ;-)

I'm told there's a white plastic clip holding the fusebox in place normally....whereabouts should I be looking for it?  Can't see it at first glance...

the clip is on the left hand side of the fuse box and is pretty obvious so it might not be there. the fuse box slieds back and down then the clip clips on the left leg and locates in a hole. you'll know what i mean when you see it...!

Cheers Joe!  Think mine must be missing or broken....which would explain the problem. Will check it out though :)
