Title: My Blower doesn't blow!! Help (It's cold)
Post by: evoboy16v on 27 January 2006, 19:21
Purchased a 1990 Golf MK2 Driver yesterday to use to get to work for the next couple of months.  Nice old thing with plenty of work journeys in it.  The problem is the Blower motor doesnÂ’t blow.  Completely deadÂ…Â…nothingÂ…

IÂ’m off to a scrappy tomorrow to rob some bitsÂ….  My questions are, whatÂ’s it likely to be and what should I buy??

I have no idea how to fix that but I do know you ;)

The car is running really well and has had all of Meguiars finest on it today.

does it work on position 3?  If so the blower resistor thing has gone on the side of the motor.  If not either the fuse, switch or wiring has gone.  The switch is nicly pocket sized so worth trying ;)
