Title: 2 Litre Bottom Ends
Post by: Organisys on 27 January 2006, 12:33
OK, I might have a 2 Litre lump coming my way from an Audi 80 Soon.

I don't know the engine code yet, but is this lump more likely to be good for a bottom end on my Digifant or my mates valver ?

I know the 2e is an easy swap, but these only came in VW's ?

Looks like the 3A came from an Audi 80 ? Good for the valver or Digifant.??

Ta.

if the audi is an 8v it will suit yours, if its a 16v then it will suit your mates.  Should be a straight swap, but you'll need to fit all your sump, oil filter housing etc.

Unless of course the audi is a 5 cylinder, then you have to buy a blanking plate to cover the extra piston & inlet/zust holes ;)
