Title: Hi, new to this

Hi,
Recently bought a MK2 Golf Gti 16v.
Its a 88 E reg 3 door. I bought it as it was cheap, £60, but obviously has a few problems.
But on the plus side it does have 15" Borbet alloys, full Stainless Magnex, £650 clifford alarm and strut brace.

Anyway hopefully you'll all be able to help me with advice on the problems its got!!
I'll save them for a post in the mk2 section!

Its a bit pink but its already polished up quite well!!

thats the trouble with tornado red, it goes pink, trust me i have had 2 like that!!

Thought some of you may be interested in were I am with my gti.
I originally bought it for £60 it was pink, didnt idle and had no 5th gear. Thanks to info from this site I finally have it sorted and mot'd!
