A bit out of my price range though :( Wasnt too sure about the front grill at first, but it does seem to be growing on me.

Still prefer the one in my sig though!.

That's the old Zender body kit for mk1's - I had one of those on an old mk1 cab about 10 years ago - didn't see another one of them back then with that kit... nice to see a mk1 with kit on....

I dont like the grill.

I've read the description of it and I'm not sure about it to be honest, it doesn't sound to me like the guy knows the car, he doesn't know if it's genuine miles at 64k (lot of bolster wear too for 64k  :undecided: ) and he doesn't know if the crusie control works.  :undecided: Pic of the drivers door sill looks well worn too for 64k.  :undecided: Maybe I'm just being picky here, and I know there's a link to this site from the advert but I'm really not convinced, looks like he's a car dealer too or he's changed his car quite a few times lately.  :undecided:

P.S. Oh yeah, and the wheels look like Ronal teddies !

Nope, you're probably right, but hey, if it's for sale on the world wide web then it's open for discussion as far as I'm concerned.  Your dream mk1 in your sig is better.

.....on the other hand, this is a nice mk1  --> http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=33019.0

So what would you MK1 owners estimate as it's value?

Hard to say really as it's worth what someone is prepared to pay for it, but if it had different wheels, a better grille and the mileage was genuine with history to back it all up then it could quite easily be worth 2 - 3k, but that's my opinion and what I'd pay for it.

I'm guessing that the reserve will be about £1500.
