guys and gals at wot temp does ur cars run??
mine dont have temp in degrees just the gauge so if u could reply using the gauge as a guide i.e quater half etc etc, cheers. wanna no if im over heating or not

always sits just a smidge below the half way mark on the gauge

oil temp usually sits between 96-112

Mine engine temp shows '9' and thats the max ive seen  :-\

The oil temp on my 16v runs between 98-112 and the water temp sits just over halfway then rises in traffic to about 3 1/4s. When the fan kicks in it goes back to halfway.

temp sits just over half way and my warning light comes on, my old car the temp was just over a quater, just a bit worried thats all

yeah its a new car, have changed the thermostat, radator water pump and everything else i can think of, maybe dodgy swith in the dials as if i hit the dash it either comes on if its off or the other way round off if its on??
should i worry??

the collant light flashes when the level of the coolant is too low. may need a slight top up, thats all

My cab runs between 86 and 96 oil temp and always sits at half way or less coolant temp wise.

8v says 90 to 96 on the mfa, needle about 2mm below halfway line on gauge

one car sits just above quater, the other more like a third. MFA reads 88 - 96 on one , the other it's broke..

sounds ok you know. a lazy thermostat would mean your engine would take ages to get up to temp. but a third sounds ok

mies a 1.6 driver on an 89 plate and its still flashing water level is ok
