Title: 18" RS4 wheels
Post by: kinny_99 on 23 January 2006, 12:59: I am looking to get some 18" RS4 wheels for my 1.8T and a friend reccomended that I buy a set of replicas instead, as I could save myself quite a bit of money.

Is there anyone who bought replicas over geniune ones or vise versa, and has anyone any suggestions as to the difference between the 2, other than the price??

Post by: PaulMK4GTI on 23 January 2006, 13:19: I bought 18" RS4 Repllcas from Wheelbase (in Chadderton) for Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£660 including 225/40/18 Khumo Tyres and VW centre caps. I have read somewhere before that chepaer wheels can be a bit weaker but i've had mine almost a year and they've stood up well so far. Can't really argue for that price.
