Hello and good evening :smiley:

I've literally just signed up; first post.

Two VW's in the family (well three if you count my Brother's 80 Quattro).  I've a B5 Passat TDI, but 'our' other car's an '89 Mk2 16v (3dr ickle bumper).  I say 'our' coz it's my wife's daily driver, but we jointly inherited it, so she gets to drive it and I get to look after it.

We're right down on the south coast in Eastbourne.

Like the site - that's why I'm here!

Got pointed thissaway by Rubjonny, who was a great help when it came to overhauling the GIT's gear shift.

Saw a thread yesterday and noticed someone's terrorising Bexhill, which is pretty close.  Have to go to Brighton for chocolate and Lewes for beer, so that's not too far either.

Nah you up North Han sweetie about 400 miles apart! (and he's married) :wink:

There's quite a few down that way and if you were by any cahnce into air-cooled as well I could put ya onto a few mates down there too!

I think the air-cooled lot meet up quite near to me, but I'm an old git and I'm liking things a little sophisticated these days.  Don't get me wrong, I love air cooled's, but I think the only time I'll have one is when I can afford to pander to one of these:
