Title: MPG AND MPH NOT WORKING ON MFA!!!

JUST WIRED A SONY MP3 PLAYER INTO MY '89 GTI. USED OLD WIRES FROM OLD STEREO. NOW, MY MPH AND MPG DOESN'T REGISTER ON MY MFA????!!!! ANY IDEAS GUYS? :huh:

Pull the fuse for the dash or the negative lead for 30 seconds.  If that doesn't fix it, the speedo sensor for the MFA is clipped to the back of the speedo, take the clocks out and have a look :)
