Title: Single Wiper
Post by: mk3steve on 20 January 2006, 15:22: Does anybody know how to set about turing standard wipers into a single wiper. i heard you can take one wiper off and turn around the motor? i have seen it done and it looks quite good.

Post by: ...joe on 20 January 2006, 15:35: you can but you have to do a bit of cutting and welding( i believe, well you do on mk2's) to lengthen the arm driven by the motor so that it makes the wiper arm sweep further. this does tend to put strain on the motor though.

or if you want a pro job look up monostyle or storm single wipers. i think its www.monostyle.co.uk only about Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£100 and i gues you know it'll work.
