Why allow me.....

Alright, I've just picked up my new baby - '90 8v digi -  having let my old 16v rust in peace. She has a full scorpion system & a 57i induction kit. The problem is there's something strange happening when pulling away. She kangaroos unless you give it lots of gas. My old 16v and 8v K-Jet never had the problem  Any ideas?

Does it idle and start ok?

Plugs sparking and air filter all ok?

I'm thinking have a search for 'blue temp sensor' as a possibility. Mine was similar when it went.

And its ISV

I recently had a similar problem with my 1992 8v. There was a split in the big fat rubber pipe that goes from the air box to the throttle thingy (no clue of proper names, sorry). The split was underneath so couldn't see it at all at first.

The kangarooing was the only problem in this case, no other issues.

New pipes from VW are something rediculous like £80-odd so got a non-split one off ebay, cured the problem.

But yes, please type properly or you'll get lots of abuse and not many useful replies I'm afraid!
