Its nothing major but i seem to get alot of rain water in the engine area and alot on the battery of my MK2. This is when the car is not driven.
Ive recently put a new bonnet on due to a small smash. Am i missing some seals on the bonnet?

do you have a water deflector on your car? its the bit under the window that covers the wind screen wiper motor etc .. . i dont have one on mine and get a lot of water in engine . is the bonnet you put on new ? it could be slightly mis-aligned or bent. water is a nightmare . good luck mate. ;)

yaeh ive got the covers. im thinking its the alignment of the bonnet.

Have you got the little seal that is clipped on the leading edge of the bonnet and contacts the grill when the bonnet is closed?

ohh and ive also got the cover that is on the underside of the bonnet near the washer jets
