what will give me the best handling and ride?

fk ak coilovers OR standard dampers with eibach pro spings

you cant have the best of both worlds im afraid.. the best suspension setups are the most uncomfortable.

if you get adjustable coilovers.. even on the softest setting you might find it a little harsh. standard dampers with lowered springs.. cheap and cheerful but dont expect anything other than a nice lowered look.

probably the best comprimise is something like koni dampers with eibach springs.. cheap-ish, decent ride and looks good too. i think awesomegti do these as a set.

cheers but what i wanna know is will the cheap ak coilovers be better than standard shocks and pro springs as i can get them for around the same price

not following you mate..

you saying you can get coilovers for the same price as JUST the springs ? in which case go for the coilovers..

if you're saying the coilovers are the same price as springs plus standard shocks (which you have already).. and you need to replace your shocks anyway because they're knackered.. i'd still be tempted with the coilovers for the better handling. although the other option would give a more comfortable ride.
