right here goes, over the past few months i have gathered most of what is needed to convert a kr lump 16v into a turbo'd version.
i have a megasquirt ecu, for fueling and such like (complete with relay board)
turbo technics top part and lower part inlet manifold (with 5th injector that iwas gonna ditch or use), all polised shiny like.
audi 5 cylinder exhaust manifold
and a 8v gtd manifold with tubby, was gonna use the tubby to mock up the engine with the manifold on
and lastly a gtd rad with fans.
a custom built powerflow exhaust 2.5" dia. (less than a week old).
barring the engine, was gonna use a 2e bottomend with my kr head.
but due to a change of plans im gonna have to ditch it all. so has any got any ideas what i should ask for it all.
im gonna stick it all on ebay, but was wondering what reserve to stick on it.
unless someone on here wants to make me a offer.
i no i wont get back what i paid for most of it, but im looking at it from the point of view from, i done all the hard work of sourcing the major parts.

If one of us were to buy the parts, what else is needed in order to finish the conversion?

bit confused by the list of parts.... do you mean an audi inlet manifold? if so it needs the fifth leg chopping off and the throttle body welded on. my mate uses this method on 16vg60 conversions. and i'm pretty sure 8v manifolds don't fit a 16v head? to be honest you might be better splitting it all on ebay as some parts might be of use to other people and you'll probably get more money that way.

to finidsh, your gonna need a passat or another adapted throttle body,or use the one on the inlet manifold with the 5th injector via the megasquiet ecu. fuel rail (told a 1.8t chopped around fits) and headgasket . as far as i no thats more or less it, oh and some kind of intercooler if you wanna run one. i was gona use a rs turbo job.
joe, yeah its a audi 5 cylinder one. but its the exhuast one, so chop off the 5th leg again and bolt it straight to the car.then bolt your tubby on.
i have a original tt, inlet manifld, top and bottom part, with the 5th injector, which i was gonna ditch or control via the megasquirt ecu.
and i was gonna use the 8v manifold just for the turbo.
no what you mean about ebay, but was hoping to exhange for a 9a engine running or not. as im gonna go the 2.0 route, and keep the k-jet for the time beign

that kinda makes more sense, does seem like a very complex way of doing it though.

i was trying to use as many off the shelf vw parts as possible, to keep it simple, its only the 5 cylinder exhauist manifold and intercooler pipework that may or maynot pose a problem.
